The Darths of Perception

Recently I finished a video project which I intentionally spent about 8 months on.
It was a diary as well as a meditation on the concepts I've been looking into for the last year.

The best way I can think of to describe it is as a narrative, video collage, tone poem, meditation on the current condition of the collective human consciousness and our future.

A friend of mine describes it as "an operatic master mash-up".

The philosophy behind the concepts are informed by ancient Kabbalah.
As well as 19th & 20th century philosophers, and 20th century sic-fi authors such as Arthur C. Clarke.
All constructed by using similarly themed clips from the films of Stanley Kubrick, George Lucas, the Wachowski brothers, David Cronenberg, Woody Allen, etc. with a little help from The Beatles.

Thank you to thesyncbook.com for graciously hosting my video for streaming.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to point you to MK Ultrasound's latest video:

We both finished our videos around the same time. And though we both knew the other was working on a video, neither of us saw the other's before completion. So it's interesting and uncanny to say the least how stylistically and thematically similar they are.

In joy!
